The Roy'S Consultancy

The Roy's Consultancy is run right out of Renuka Niwas in Pimple Gurav, Pune. Since we are based in a house, it doesn't really feel like a typical office. There aren't any cubicles or fluorescent lights here. Instead, we have a simple room with a couple of desks and some bookshelves. We’ve lived in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know a lot of the people who walk past our gate every day. Our consultancy is a small, family-style operation. We help people with their local needs, like sorting out documents or giving some basic business advice. We don’t have a big team of experts. It’s just us using what we’ve learned over the years to help others. We don’t spend any money on advertising. Most of our clients are just neighbors or people who were told to come to us by a friend. It’s a very relaxed way to work. We don't have set hours most of the time; if the light is on and we are home, we are usually open. We don't try to sound like a big corporate firm because we aren't one. We are just local people trying to make a living by being helpful. Sometimes we sit out on the porch and talk to people who drop by. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in a place like Pimple Gurav.
