The Design Cell

Our studio, The Design Cell, is located at 320 Mitra Mandal Chowk, specifically in Supekar Wada near Balaji Medical. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot in Patil Plaza on Siddheshwar Road. We spend our days working on drawings and plans for various projects. It is a creative space, so it is usually filled with papers, color samples, and coffee mugs. We are not a big agency with a receptionist; usually, you will just find one of us hunched over a computer or a drafting table. We like working this way because it keeps us close to the actual design work. People in the building know us as the quiet ones who stay late. We take on all sorts of jobs, some small and some that take months to finish. It is not always easy, and sometimes we go back and forth on a design for days until it looks right. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just draw and plan things out so they work for the people using them. The neighborhood is good, and having the medical shop nearby makes it easy to explain where we are to visitors. It is a practical place for us to focus and get the work done. We have been here for a while and do not plan on moving anywhere else.
