Tata Motors

We’ve been here at Plot No 66/6 in Shevantiban Housing Society for a while now. Most people know the Walherkerwadi Road area in Chinchwad, so it’s not too hard to find us if you’re driving around Pune. It gets pretty busy on this side of town, especially with all the traffic coming through, but we just keep doing what we do. The garage is usually full of trucks and cars that need looking at. Sometimes the heat in Maharashtra gets to be a bit much in the afternoons, so we take our breaks when we can. Working at Tata Motors here means you see a lot of the same faces coming back. It’s mostly just us getting grease on our hands and making sure engines are running like they should. We don't have a fancy office or anything, just the workspace and some tools that have seen better days. It’s honest work, really. People stop by to ask questions about their vehicles or just to check on a part they ordered last week. The rain during monsoon season makes the yard a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes in this part of Chinchwad. We try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way when there are five different jobs going on at once. It’s just a normal day for us, dealing with whatever comes through the gate.
