Our office for T D S Capital Corporation India Pvt Ltd is actually in a bungalow called Gurukrupa. It’s number 1114/8 in the Gajanan Housing Society. Being in a residential society in Shivaji Nagar gives it a much different feel than a regular office building. We are right on Ganesh Khind Road, opposite Modi Baug, so even though we are in a house, the road outside is always busy with Pune traffic. Working in a bungalow means we have a bit more space and it feels a little more relaxed. There is a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the Pune heat makes it tough. Inside, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces for our capital and finance business. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the files and desks tucked into different corners. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors all know us. It’s nice not to have to deal with a crowded elevator or a dark lobby every morning. We just walk through the gate and get to work. Most of our days are spent looking at market trends and managing accounts for our clients. We have a kitchen where we cook up some lunch or make tea, which makes the whole place smell like home. It’s a practical setup for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big glass walls; we just focus on the work that needs doing.
