Our place is located right on Tilak Road in Laxmi Nagar. We’ve been here for a good bit now. Most days are pretty much the same, which is fine by us. We open the doors and see who comes in. Tilak Road can get really busy with traffic, so there’s always noise coming from outside. Inside, we just focus on what needs doing. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just a local operation. People from the neighborhood stop by often. Sometimes they just want to chat for a minute while they’re out doing their errands. We keep the space tidy, or at least we try to when it’s not too busy. There’s always some paperwork to catch up on or something that needs fixing. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. Just a small business trying to keep things moving. Laxmi Nagar is a nice area to work in because you get to know the other shop owners pretty well. We see the same faces every week. It makes the day go by a bit faster. We don’t go in for big advertisements or loud signs. People find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we are. We just take it one day at a time and do the work that’s in front of us. That’s how we’ve always done things here, and it works for the way we like to live and work. We just stay steady.
