We've been at the corner of Mit Corner Lane in Koregaon Park for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling phone calls and walking people over to see apartments nearby. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always someone popping in to ask about a place to stay or a shop they want to rent out. We spend a lot of time looking at floor plans and checking out properties to make sure they are actually what people say they are. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just how this job goes. We know this specific part of Pune quite well since we spend most of our waking hours here. You might see us walking down the lane heading to a meeting or just grabbing a quick tea between appointments. It’s not a very fancy office, just a practical space where we keep our files and meet up with owners and tenants. We try to keep things simple. If a place isn't good, we usually just say so. People seem to appreciate that honesty. Koregaon Park has changed a lot over the years, with more traffic and new cafes, but our day-to-day work stays pretty much the same. We just keep track of who is moving where and help get the keys handed over without too much fuss. It's regular work, but we like being right here in the middle of it all.
