Our office is over in Rasta Peth, at S.No. 520 in the Mahaveer Palace building. It’s a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been running Svs Chemical Corporation from here for several years. It’s not a palace despite the name of the building, just a functional space where we get our work done. We deal with various chemical compounds, mostly for industrial use. The rooms are filled with filing cabinets and some sample bottles tucked away in the corners. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, talking to suppliers and checking on delivery schedules. It can be a bit stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we’ve learned to deal with it over time. The team here is small, just four of us who have worked together for ages. We know each other’s habits and how we like things done. We usually have lunch together at the big table in the middle of the main room. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we mostly just work with people we’ve known for years. People know they can just drop by Rasta Peth if they need to discuss an order in person. We keep things straightforward and don't make promises we can't keep. It’s just a regular business doing regular work every day, and that’s plenty for us to focus on. We like the rhythm of it all.
