Suyog Cards

Suyog Cards is a small printing shop located in Khadki, over in the Shahpur area at E/F/3. It’s a tiny space, to be honest. We have the printing presses and boxes of different types of paper stacked in every corner. It always smells like ink and old paper in here, which is a scent I’ve actually grown to like over the years. We mostly do wedding cards, birth announcements, and small business cards for people in the neighborhood. Customers come in with their ideas, and we try our best to make them fit on the paper they like. Sometimes people have ideas that are way too big for their budget, so we have to sit down and talk about what's possible. We aren't a big digital agency with fancy computers. We still use some of the older machines because they give a better feel to the finished cards. The clicking sound of the press is the background noise of my entire life. My wife helps me with the designs on the weekends, and I handle the printing and the cutting during the day. We often have ink stains on our fingers that are really hard to scrub off. We don’t have a fancy showroom for people to sit in. You just walk into the workshop and we show you the samples from a big old binder. We’ve been here for a long time and seen many families grow up.
