Sushma Garade

My name is Sushma Garade and I’ve been set up here in Yerawada for quite some time. The office, if you can call it that, is right in the Maharashtra Housing Board Society. It’s a bit of an older area, but I like the feel of it. We are located near Golf Club Road, which is a landmark most people in Pune recognize easily. Room number M-1/6 isn't a huge space, but it serves its purpose for what I do. Living and working in the same general vicinity makes things easier for me. The neighborhood is usually full of activity, especially with the survey number being a bit confusing for first-time visitors. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know all the shortcuts and the local shops. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. I don’t go in for big advertisements or flashy signs on the door. Most of the people I deal with are from around the area or heard about me through a friend. It's just a simple setup with a desk and some chairs. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because the society is so big, but we manage. It’s just me and a bit of help now and then. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door is open, I’m probably inside working on something. It feels more like a home than a corporate office.
