Sunil Mahajan & Associates

Sunil Mahajan & Associates is tucked away on the third floor of Jai Ganesh Vishwas in Vishrantwadi. It’s room 305, right where the hallway turns. Usually, the morning starts with opening up the windows to let out the stuffiness from the night before. You can hear the traffic down on the road pretty clearly from up here. It gets loud when the buses go by. The office isn't anything fancy. We have a few desks pushed against the walls and a bunch of blue files stacked up in the corner because the cabinet is already full. People come in mostly for paperwork or to sit down and talk through things. Sometimes we have to move chairs around just to make space if more than two people show up at once. The light in the afternoon hits the front desk at a weird angle so we usually keep the blind half-shut. There’s a tea shop right downstairs that everyone goes to around four. We’ve been here for a bit now, so the neighbors in the building know us. The elevator is a bit slow and makes a clunking sound, but it works fine for the most part. Most of the day is spent just staring at papers or answering the landline when it decides to ring. It’s just a normal place where we get through the work we have for the day and try to keep things moving.
