Studying

Living and working out of Sinhgad Boys Hostel in Narhe, Pune. It’s a bit of a mess in here most days. Books are piled up on the desk and there’s always someone playing music in the next room. Studying isn't always easy when you're in a hostel with so many guys around. We share a small space and the wifi is patchy. You can hear the traffic from the road outside quite clearly. Most of the time we are just staring at screens or trying to make sense of notes from lectures. The mess food is okay but we usually end up getting snacks from the shops nearby. It’s a busy part of Pune. We spend a lot of time just sitting in the room or hanging out in the common area when we need a break from the books. The fans are always spinning because it gets warm. We’ve got our laptops, some old notebooks, and way too many pens that don't work. It’s just the usual life of people trying to learn something new while living in a cramped space. Sometimes we stay up way too late talking instead of actually studying. The morning alarm is always a struggle. We’re just here doing our thing and trying to get through the exams. It’s not a big corporate office or anything, just a room in a hostel where we spend most of our waking hours.
