Eovera Science Centre

We are located at 147-C in Sadashiv Peth, right across from S P College. Being near the college means we see a lot of students and teachers walking by every day. At Eovera Science Centre, we spend our time surrounded by various scientific items and equipment. It’s not a massive place, but we have quite a bit packed into the shop. We’ve been at this Sadashiv Peth location for a good number of years. The atmosphere is usually quite studious because of where we are. We don't have any flashy displays or loud music. It’s a place for people who are looking for specific things for their labs or studies. Sometimes we spend the morning just organizing the shelves or checking the new stock that came in. It’s a quiet kind of work most of the time. We aren't corporate people with suits and ties. We are just here in our regular clothes, helping out whoever comes through the door. The building is an old one, like many others in this part of town. We’ve grown accustomed to the rhythm of the academic year. When the college is in session, things get a bit busier for us. We just keep things simple and focus on the science stuff we have here. It’s a nice way to spend the day. Sometimes we have to help a student find a very specific kind of glass tube or a certain chemical they can't find anywhere else. It feels good when we can pull it off the shelf for them. It’s a quiet life in Sadashiv Peth. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there for years.
