Our office is tucked away on East Street in the Camp area, specifically inside Thaker House. It’s a bit of a maze around here with MG Cross Road and Sukunwadi all overlapping, but we are right opposite Penosh. The building is older, with high ceilings and those heavy wooden doors that creak when you open them. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and stacks of property papers. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls; it’s more like a room filled with filing cabinets and a few old chairs. Sometimes the phone rings all day, and other times it's quiet enough to hear the traffic on the main road outside. We know the local landlords and which buildings have water issues or good parking spots. It’s about knowing the ground reality of these streets.
