You can find Star Exim India over at Ganjre Chowk in Navi Peth. We are on the first floor of Keshav Smruti Apartment, which is right at Survey No 197. It’s a bit of a specific address, but once you find the apartment building, we are right there. Navi Peth is a solid place to be for a business like ours. We handle import and export tasks, which sounds more complicated than it really is once you get the hang of it. Our office is pretty simple. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of filing cabinets for all the customs paperwork we have to keep. It’s mostly just us keeping track of what’s coming into the country and what’s going out. We don’t really do any big advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years or heard about us from others in the trade. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed, though it gets hectic when deadlines are close. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the paperwork moving so nothing gets stuck. Being in a residential-style building like Keshav Smruti makes it feel a bit more like home than a cold corporate office. We like it that way. It is a local business run by people who live nearby and understand how things work in this part of town. This is one of those places where everyone knows each other’s name.
