Our office is at Plot No A-2/3 Suman Nagar, right along the Sion-Trombay Road in Chembur. It’s a very busy part of town, so there’s always the sound of traffic in the background. We deal with surfactants, which are used in all sorts of soaps and cleaning products. Most of our day involves managing the supply of these materials to different manufacturers. It’s a lot of logistics work. We stay busy tracking shipments and dealing with the paperwork that comes with moving chemical products around. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the work done. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when a customer needs something urgently and the trucks are stuck in Mumbai traffic. We do our best to keep things moving. We aren't a massive corporate entity with a high-rise office. We’re just a group of people who know the surfactant business and work hard at it. Chembur is a good spot for us because it’s central to a lot of the industrial activity in the area. We’ve been here for a while and we know the local market pretty well. Every morning we come in, check the messages, and start the process of getting orders ready for the day ahead.
