Space Designers' Syndicate

Our small office is tucked away at D1, Archana Greens, just off Nibm Road in Pune. It’s a quiet enough area, which helps when we are trying to sketch out plans or look over site drawings. Space Designers' Syndicate is really just a handful of us who have been doing this for a while. We spend a lot of time traveling between the office and various sites around the city. Pune has grown so much lately, and there’s always someone needing a kitchen redone or a new flat fitted out. We aren't interested in being a corporate giant. We prefer sitting down with a cup of tea and talking through what a person actually needs for their home. Sometimes the ideas are simple, and other times they are a bit more complicated, but we just take it as it comes. We’ve seen all sorts of buildings in the 411048 zip code area. Working in residential complexes like Archana Greens gives us a good sense of the local layout and what residents are looking for. We don’t use a lot of jargon. We just talk about where the cupboards should go and what kind of lighting makes sense for a small room. It’s practical work. We have our tools, our sketches, and a lot of patience for when things don't go exactly as planned on a job site. It keeps life interesting for us.
