Simran Creations

My place is located in Bibvewadi, at Kumar park. It’s in the O Building, Flat 6, right on the Bibvewadi Kondhwa Road. I run Simran Creations from here. It’s not a store on the main street, but more of a home-based setup. I mostly work on ladies' clothes, doing embroidery and stitching. I’ve always had a knack for it, so I decided to make it a business. The living room is usually full of dresses and thread. Clients come over for trials and we figure out what needs to be changed. It’s very relaxed. We usually have some tea and talk while we look at designs together. Since I’m on the Kondhwa Road, it’s a convenient spot for people living in the nearby societies. I don't have a big sign outside or a fancy showroom. It’s just me working with a couple of helpers. We take our time with each piece to make sure it’s done right. Sometimes we get behind schedule when there are too many festivals happening at once, but we always manage to finish. It’s a small, personal way of doing things, and I think people appreciate that they can just come to my home and talk directly to me about what they want. It feels more like helping out neighbors than running a big company.
