You can find us at 10 Sassoon Road. It’s been our spot for a long time now. We sell all kinds of fabric and general items that people need for their houses. It’s a bit of a crowded shop because we try to fit a lot in such a small space. You might have to wait a minute if we are already helping someone else, but that is just how it goes. The shelves are piled pretty high with rolls of cloth and boxes of various things like needles, thread, and small household goods. We open up early and stay until the evening. It’s a simple business. My family and I run it together, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter or digging through a pile to find a specific color someone asked for. Sassoon Road is always moving, and we like being part of the noise. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. People come in, ask for what they need, and we find it for them. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and things get a bit disorganized, but we eventually get it sorted out. It’s just a basic store for the neighborhood. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. If you need something specific, you just have to ask. We do our best to keep the staples in stock all year round.
