Shailesh Bag Manufacturing Company

We set up Shailesh Bag Manufacturing Company inside the Sangvi Steel Compound. It is unit number 2. Being in Chinchwad is convenient for us because of all the industrial activity around here. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of sewing machines and cutting tools. It gets pretty loud during the peak hours. We aren’t a big factory, just a group of people making bags from scratch. The space is a bit industrial, with rolls of fabric and thread everywhere. We don’t have a showroom, so it is mostly about the production side of things. Sometimes the dust from the yard gets in, but we try to keep the workspace clean enough for the machines. My cousin helps me manage the workers. We’ve been at this for a few years now. Most of our work is done on benches that have seen better days. It is honest work. We don’t use any high-tech gadgets, just reliable old equipment that gets the job done. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order to finish. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office. People find us because they know where Sangvi Steel is. We don’t bother with much else besides making sure the stitching is tight and the zippers work. It is a simple setup for a simple business. We just keep our heads down and get the manufacturing done.
