A M Bags

A M Bags is situated at number 7 in the Brahma Aangan Shopping Complex over in Khondhwa. The complex is a busy place with lots of different shops, so there is always a crowd of people walking past our window. Our unit is small, but we try to make the most of it. We have bags of different sizes lined up along the walls and a few more hanging from the door frame to catch people's eyes. Khondhwa is a growing area and we see a lot of new faces every week. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything; it’s just this one room where we handle everything. The counter is an old wooden one that has seen better days, but it’s sturdy. We spend a lot of time organizing the stock by color and size, though it usually gets messed up by noon. There is no background music here, just the sound of the shopping complex and the nearby traffic. We keep a small stool in the corner for when the day gets long and our legs get tired. It’s an honest way to make a living, selling things that people actually use every day. We don't make big promises; we just show the bags for what they are. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the complex and we have to wait it out in the dark for a bit, but that is just part of being here. We focus on the basics and keep things simple.
