Om Bags Novelties

Our little shop, Om Bags Novelties, is at 242 Khadki. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. Most people know us for the bags hanging outside the door. We sell all sorts of things, mostly bags and small novelty items that people like to buy for gifts or for their kids. The place is packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to move around when we have a lot of new stock. I usually have boxes sitting in the aisle because there isn't enough shelf space. Khadki is a busy area, and we get people stopping in on their way home. We have purses, wallets, and school bags. Then there are the novelties—small toys, keychains, and things that don't really fit in any other category. I like being here because I get to talk to everyone who walks past. It’s a very local feel. If you are looking for a fancy mall experience, this isn't it. We have a fan that squeaks and the lighting is a bit dim in the back. But we have what you need if you need a sturdy bag for carrying groceries or books. I try to keep the prices fair because I know the people living around here. It’s just a small business trying to stay afloat in the neighborhood. We open early and stay until the street gets quiet at night. I hope to stay here at 242 Khadki for a long time.
