Satyajit Rane & Associates

Satyajit Rane & Associates is based over in Naya Goan, specifically at plot 1076/4 on the Khuda Ali Sher Road. We’re not too far from the Ganeshkhind area, which is how most people find their way to us. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we’re always wiping down our desks. The office is a straightforward space. We didn't spend much on the interior design because we’re usually too busy working on other people’s buildings. There are a couple of computers, a big printer that jams more than it should, and a lot of shelves piled high with binders. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to sketching out site layouts. The neighborhood is a mix of old and new, and you can see that transition happening right outside our window. We don't have a corporate mission statement or any of that stuff. We just try to get the dimensions right and make sure the plans make sense. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but mostly we try to keep regular hours. It’s a quiet life in Naya Goan for the most part. We like the fact that it’s a bit out of the main city rush. It gives us a bit more headspace to think about the work. No frills, no fuss, just a bunch of people working on Khuda Ali Sher Road.
