Our space isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of it. We deal with whatever comes our way day to day. There are a lot of shops around us doing similar things, so we all know each other. It’s a tight community in Bhavani Peth. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. People usually just know where we are or they get told by someone else. When the weather gets hot, it can be pretty tough working in the market, but we just get on with it. We have our regulars who have been coming to Sanghvi Godaji Manaji & Co for years. They know how we work and they know where to find us. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't spend money on decorations or anything like that. The focus is just on the timber and getting the orders out. If you come by, you’ll probably see us unloading something or checking the stock. It’s just how it is here.
