Sandesh Bag House

Sandesh Bag House is right across from Parvati Appartment in Mamta Nagar. If you are in Chinchwad, you probably know the area. It’s a small shop filled with all sorts of bags. We have them hanging from the ceiling and stacked on the floor. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at once. We started this place because we saw people needed sturdy things to carry their belongings. It's not a designer boutique or anything high-end. We just have practical bags for everyday use. School kids come in for backpacks and workers look for something tough that won't rip easily. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so it gets a bit warm inside. We usually have the radio playing in the background. Sometimes the neighbors from the apartment come over just to chat while they wait for their groceries. We’ve been part of this street for a long time. The sign outside is a bit faded now, but people still find us. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If you need a bag, you just come in and look around. We help you find what fits. It’s a simple way to run a business. We like the local vibe of Mamta Nagar and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It is our home.
