Sanchi Forest And Engineering Consultants Private Limited is based in the Dhankawadi area of Pune. We are located in Rajmudra Society, in building B12/2. It’s a residential society, so we’re surrounded by families and everyday life. Our work involves a mix of forest-related stuff and engineering, which sounds like an odd combination but it makes sense to us. We’ve been at this for a while now. The office is basically a converted flat, so it has a kitchen where we make way too many cups of coffee. We have blueprints and maps spread out over most of the tables. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. We don't really have a boss who hovers over us. We all know what our tasks are for the week. Some days we are out in the field, and other days we are stuck here doing calculations. Dhankawadi is a busy place, and the traffic on the way to S. No 33 can be a nightmare if you don't time it right. We usually try to start early to avoid the worst of it. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just help people with their engineering and forest projects as best as we can. It’s a practical business run by people who actually understand the technical side of things. We’re just a small, dedicated team in a quiet Pune neighborhood.
