Saket Agency

Saket Agency is based out of Chinchwad, right on the Shahibaug Road. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always something happening outside our doors. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly dealing with supplies and distribution. The warehouse area can get a bit cluttered if we aren't careful, so we spend a lot of time moving boxes and checking lists. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The staff here are a good group; we’ve worked together for a long time and we know how to get things loaded onto the trucks quickly. Chinchwad is a real hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other businesses on the street. We open up early in the morning, usually before the traffic on Shahibaug Road gets too heavy. There is a lot of back-and-forth with drivers and customers all day long. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of ledgers. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, especially when we are trying to keep the goods dry, but we manage. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It’s a practical, everyday kind of business for us and we just keep pushing forward with the daily tasks as they come.
