SAI Water suppler

Out in Warje Malwadi, specifically at Sukhadia`s Wadi 166, that’s where you’ll find our water tanks. SAI Water suppler is basically just a couple of us and the delivery trucks. We provide water to the homes and the small shops in this neighborhood. It’s a lot of driving back and forth on these narrow streets. The hill can be really tough on the truck engines when the tankers are completely full. We’ve had this spot for a while now. It’s not much to look at, just some open ground and the pump station. We get a lot of phone calls in the summer months when the municipal taps go dry. It gets pretty stressful then. Everyone wants their water delivered first and they get upset if we're late. We try to be fair and go in the order people called, but it’s hard when everyone is shouting. We don’t have a secretary or a computer. I just keep a small notebook in my pocket to track who needs what. It’s usually a bit smudged from the water and the dirt on my hands. We don’t do any fancy billing. Usually, people just pay cash when the truck arrives. We know almost every family in the Wadi by now. We aren't trying to become some huge international company. We just want to keep the trucks running and the neighbors happy. It’s hard work, but it’s honest.
