Our base is at B/503 in S G House, which is part of Sun Shree Woods in Khondhwa. Ryan Real Estate isn't a huge firm; it is really just a local office where we keep track of what’s available in this part of town. The office is inside the residential complex, so it feels very much like a part of the community. We have some maps pinned to the wall and a few folders full of property details sitting on the main table. A lot of our day is spent walking around the different blocks here or meeting people at the gate. We know most of the security guards and the folks who live in Sun Shree Woods, which makes things easier when we need to show a flat. The office itself is quite simple, just a few chairs for visitors and a computer that we use for the listings. We don't really do much advertising; mostly people just find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It can get a bit hectic when several people want to see the same place at once, but we usually manage to sort out the timing. There’s always a pot of tea going, and we spend a lot of time just talking to people about what they are looking for in a home. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We’ve been here for years and seen the trees grow tall while buildings went up around us.
