Rmr Shaha & Company has its office in Shaniwar Peth, right in the heart of historical Pune. We are located in Nav Maharashtra House, taking up units 208 and 209 on the second floor. One of the best things about working here is that we are directly opposite Shaniwar Wada. Looking out at those old fort walls is a daily reminder of the city's past. Shaniwar Peth is a very crowded and busy area, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside. The office itself is quite plain. We have combined two units to give us enough room for our desks and the massive amount of files we keep. It is a practical, no-frills space. We have our computers and printers, and the rest is just storage for all the records. It is an old-fashioned kind of office where the focus is strictly on the work. We do not have a fancy lobby or any marketing displays. People come in, we talk about their requirements, and we get to work. It can get a bit loud with the traffic from the main road, but that is just part of being in such a central location. We have been here for many years and have grown accustomed to the busy, slightly chaotic nature of the neighborhood.
