Redroses Gautam Communications is a small operation run out of Ghatgar. Specifically, we’re located with Pitambar Tewari at Nitya Nand. It’s a quiet spot, far away from the big city noise you find in Mumbai or Delhi. Being an OPC, or a One Person Company, it’s mostly just a personal effort here. I handle the communications side of things, which covers a lot of ground depending on the day. The name Redroses was something that just stuck, and Gautam is part of the identity we’ve built over time. Ghatgar is the kind of place where people know each other, so it’s not like being in a massive office park where you’re just a number. The workspace is simple. There is a desk, a reliable phone line, and a computer that’s seen better days but still works hard. I spend a lot of time talking to people and making sure messages get through clearly. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary. There are no corporate retreats or big boardrooms here. Just me and the daily tasks that need finishing. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when the weather gets bad in the hills, but we manage to get things done eventually. It’s a slow-paced life compared to the big cities, but I find that helps with thinking clearly. I just focus on doing what needs to be done for the day and then closing up.
