Arcs Animation

Arcs Animation is over at Indra Apartment in Tanaji Nagar. It’s more of a homey setup than a big studio, which we actually like. Chinchwad is a busy place, but our little corner in building number five stays relatively quiet. Most of the time, you’ll just find us sitting in front of our monitors with headphones on, working on different frames and drawings. The apartment isn't huge, so things can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of equipment plugged in. Sometimes the power fluctuates and we all hold our breath hoping we didn't lose any work. We’ve got sketches taped to the walls and coffee mugs sitting on every flat surface. It’s a creative space, even if it’s a bit cluttered. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit and know the local shopkeepers well. If we need a quick snack, we just head downstairs. Animation takes a really long time, so we spend hours just looking at the same few seconds of video over and over again. It’s a slow process and requires a lot of patience. We don't have a big reception desk or a sign out front. We’re just a small group of people who enjoy making things move on a screen. It’s hard work, but being in a residential apartment makes it feel a bit less like a typical office job.
