You can find us at Shop Number 1 and 2 right by the Jakat Naka in Dhanori. We have been in Pune for a good while and this spot works well for us because so many people pass by on their way into the city. Having two shops right next to each other gives us a bit more room to store things, but it still feels cramped sometimes when we get a big delivery. We mostly have bags for travel and school, the kind of things people use every day. The area around Jakat Naka is always noisy with trucks and bikes, so there is a lot of dust that we have to clean off the bags every morning. It is just a couple of us working here, usually starting early to get things organized. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights, just some racks and hooks to hang things on. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard, but you get used to it. People from the nearby housing colonies come in quite often. We just try to keep enough stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. It is not a complicated business, just selling bags to folks who need them for work or school. We have been here long enough that we know most of the other shopkeepers around the corner and we look out for each other when the market gets busy.
