Rakhi Arts & Advertising

We have been over here in Shaniwar Peth for quite some time now, just doing our thing at Anusaya Sadan on G D Ambedkar Marg. It is a busy little corner of Jay Shivaji Nagar and there is always something going on right outside the door. Most days we are just busy with the paints and the different materials we use for the advertising stuff we make. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that, just a workspace where we get things done. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask about signs or maybe some art work for their own shops. We usually have the radio on or just listen to the traffic passing by while we work. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Sometimes the brushes need a good soak and the ink gets everywhere, but we don't mind it much. We just try to keep up with the orders that come in. It is mostly just us here, working through the day and making sure the names on the boards look right. There is no big corporate team or anything, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and the colors. We have seen the street change a lot over the years, but our little spot stays the same. That is pretty much it for us.
