Rajmata Furniture

You can find us right on the main Sinhagad Road, specifically in the Kanva Apartment building. We are directly across from Citizen Bakery, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. At Rajmata Furniture, the shop is usually filled with the smell of wood and polish. We have been here for a long time, watching the traffic go by on the busy road outside. Our space is packed with different pieces we’re working on or showing. It can be a bit hard to move around sometimes because we like to keep a lot of stock on the floor. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and salesmen in suits. It’s mostly just us in our regular clothes, helping people find what they need for their homes. Some of the stuff is heavy, and we spend a lot of time moving chairs and tables around. The dust is a constant thing we deal with, but that comes with the territory. We’ve seen many families come through these doors over the years. We don't do much in the way of fancy advertising or brochures. People usually just stop in while they’re out shopping for groceries or bread at the bakery across the way. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We just try to be helpful and keep the shop open for whoever stops by. It is just how things have always been here at the apartment.
