Rajan Traders

I run Rajan Traders out of Shop No.22 over on B.D Road. We are situated in the Shivaji Nagar area, right next to the petrol pump. It is a very busy corner because of the petrol station, so there are always cars, bikes, and rickshaws stopping nearby at all hours. The shop itself is not very large at all, but I try my best to keep it stocked with the things people around here actually need. I have been working in this spot for several years now. It started off as a small venture and it has stayed pretty much the same size, which honestly suits me just fine. I do not have any employees working for me, it is just me and occasionally my nephew comes by to help out when things get really busy during the festival seasons. I don't use any of those fancy sales tactics or special offers you see in the bigger stores. People just come in, ask me for what they want, and I see if I have it in the back. If I don't have it, I usually tell them which other shop might have it. It is a very straightforward way to run a business. The noise from the road can be a bit loud in the evenings, but you get used to it after a while. I don't have a brochure or any kind of mission statement. My only real goal is to keep the shop open and do my work.
