Sai Aluminium

We are located at plot 295 in the EPIP area of White Field. It is a big industrial zone so there are always sounds of construction and transport trucks around us. We focus on aluminium work mostly frames and sections that go into buildings. Our setup isn't anything fancy. It is a large room with benches and saw machines. The smell of cut metal is pretty much always in the air. We start our day early before the traffic in White Field gets too bad for the trucks to move. A lot of the work involves taking raw sections and cutting them down to the exact sizes people need for their windows or office partitions. It is repetitive work but you have to pay attention or you will ruin a whole piece of metal. We have a small corner where we keep the finished pieces ready for pickup. Sometimes things get delayed because a machine needs oiling or a part breaks but that is just part of the job. We talk to the drivers and the site supervisors who come to collect the orders. It is a straightforward way of making a living. No one here wears a suit. We wear clothes that we do not mind getting dirty or greasy. The sun hits the metal and makes it hot to touch by noon. We just keep at it until the day’s list is finished. It is just us doing our bit here.
