Raj'S Design Studio

Raj'S Design Studio is tucked away at 1145 Shri Sadashiv Co Op Housing Society. We are right opposite the Police Ground on F.C. road. If you know Pune, you know F.C. Road is always buzzing with people and students. Being near the Police Ground makes it easier for people to find us since it's such a well-known landmark. We’ve been working out of this space for a good bit now. It’s a studio, but don't expect anything too glitzy. It’s more of a workshop where we actually sit and design things. We have sketching pads, fabric scraps, and measuring tapes lying around most of the time. It feels like a real working space because that’s exactly what it is. We deal with people who want something a bit more personal than what you find in the big malls. Sometimes we have long chats with folks about what they want, and other times they just leave it to us to figure it out. The housing society is a quiet contrast to the busy street outside. It gives us a bit of peace to actually get the sewing and cutting done. We are usually here from mid-morning until the sun goes down. If the door is open, we are probably inside working on a client's project. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. We just like making clothes that fit right and look okay. That is basically our day-to-day life at 1145 Shri Sadashiv.
