Pushpmitra Crop Science Foundation

Pushpmitra Crop Science Foundation is located in the Uttam Nagar area of Amravati. We are at the residence of Shri Panjabrao Gulabrao Dave. It’s a nice, lived-in part of the city. We focus on crop science, which sounds a bit technical, but really it’s just about understanding how to grow things better. We aren’t a big profit-driven company; we are more of a foundation trying to help out with agricultural knowledge. The office is just a regular room in the house where we keep our books and research papers. We spend our days looking at crop patterns and talking to people who want to improve their farming methods. Uttam Nagar is a comfortable place to be, and it’s easy for people to find us. We don’t have any flashy signs or big advertisements. Most people hear about us through word of mouth. It’s a quiet kind of work, very focused on the science side of things. We try to keep things grounded in what actually works for the local soil and climate. Amravati has a lot of potential for agriculture, and we just want to play our part in that. It’s a modest setup, and we like it that way. We don’t need much more than our notes and a place to talk with the folks who come by for advice on their crops. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just looking at soil samples under a magnifying glass.
