My office is at B/28 in Anusuya Enclave, Wanawadi. It’s right next to Shinde Chhatri, which is a famous landmark around here. I spend my days talking to people about flats and shops. It’s a lot of phone calls and walking around to show different places. Real estate in Pune is always changing, so I try to keep track of what’s available in the area. The office is small but I have enough space for a desk and a couple of chairs for visitors. I don't wear a suit or anything like that. Most days it’s just jeans and a shirt. I just tell them what I know about the water supply or the neighbors. It’s about being helpful and knowing who is selling what. Sometimes it’s slow, and I just sit and have tea with the other shop owners nearby. Other days, I’m out all afternoon looking at new buildings. It’s a practical job. I just help people find a roof over their heads or a place for their business. My phone rings at all hours, but that is just part of the work. I keep a folder full of listings on my desk. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a local office for anyone looking for property nearby.
