Working out of J.M. Road in Pune is quite an experience every single day. If you have ever been to the 411001 area, you know how loud and fast it moves. My space is right in the middle of all that action. I have been based here for a long time, watching the shops change and the traffic get worse every year. It is a central spot, which makes it easy for people to drop by, even if parking is a total nightmare. I usually spend my mornings going through emails and making phone calls. The sound of horns and people talking on the sidewalk is like background music to my workday. I don't have a big corporate team behind me. It is mostly just me handling things and making sure the work gets done correctly. My office isn't anything special to look at, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes the monsoon rain hits the window so hard I can't hear myself think. It is a very local way of working. I know the guys at the nearby stalls and the postman who comes by at the same time every afternoon. I just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things moving. Being on J.M. Road keeps me connected to the heart of the city, and that is just how I like it for now.
