Potion Nine

Working at Liberty Building on North Main Road is pretty nice because of all the trees in Koregaon Park. It’s one of the quieter spots compared to the rest of Pune, though the traffic has been getting worse lately. We are at number 5, and the vibe here is usually relaxed. We spend a lot of time organizing the shelves and talking to people who wander in from the street. The name Potion Nine usually makes people curious, so we end up explaining what we do a lot. It’s a bright space with plenty of light coming through the windows. Sometimes we just sit and watch the people walking their dogs outside. The building itself is older, so it has some character that you don't see in the new glass towers. We usually start the day with a clean-up and then settle into whatever tasks are on the list. It might be checking inventory or just rearranging the displays for the tenth time. We don't have a big corporate structure here, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the cafes nearby. By the time evening rolls around, the streetlights come on and the area gets a different feel. It’s a good place to spend the day, and we’ve gotten to know the regular faces around Koregaon Park quite well.
