Ground Designs

Ground Designs is a small shop located at Shop No 2 in the Swanand Apartment building. We are in Vivek Nagar, Akurdi, which is right opposite the big Bajaj Auto plant. Being right across from such a huge landmark makes it pretty easy for people to find us, even if they are not from around Akurdi. The shop itself is not very large. We have just enough space for our equipment and a couple of desks where we sit and figure things out. It is a bit cramped sometimes, but it is home for us. We have been in Swanand Apartment for a while now, and we have gotten to know the other shop owners and residents pretty well. It is a nice little community to be a part of. We do not have any fancy displays or a big marketing budget. Most of our days are spent working on projects and talking to people who drop by the shop. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. We do not really follow a strict corporate dress code or anything like that; we just wear what is comfortable for working. The noise from the road and the nearby factory is something we have just gotten used to over time. It is just a regular shop doing regular work for people who need it. We like being in Vivek Nagar because it feels grounded and real, which is exactly how we run things.
