We are tucked away on Tandel Street in the Camp area. It is right near the Dastur Girls School on SVP Road. This part of town has a lot of history and we have been part of it for a long time. Our shop deals with cycles and some motor parts too. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned setup. We have rows of frames and tires leaning against the walls. The building itself shows its age, but it works for what we do. Usually, parents bring their kids in for their first bicycle, or people stop by because they have a flat tire on their way to work. We spend a lot of time adjusting chains and fixing brakes. It is dusty work. The street outside is always busy with students and people heading to the markets nearby. We don't have a big website or a social media page. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside and watch the traffic go by when things are slow. It’s a steady pace here. We know most of the shopkeepers on this block. If you are looking for a place that feels like the old Poona, this is pretty much it. We just keep doing what we know, day after day, and that seems to work for us. It is a quiet life in a busy street.
