Pepwash Laundry Services

We are set up over in Tathawade, right at S.no 156/2. You can find us pretty easily because we are located right opposite Balaji Law College. Because of the college, we see a lot of students coming and going all the time. The laundry is always buzzing with the sound of the washing machines and the dryers. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be organized with how we stack the laundry bags. Most of my day is spent sorting through clothes and making sure the machines are running properly. It gets quite warm in here with all the steam from the irons. We don't have any fancy apps or high-tech systems. We just use a basic ledger to keep track of the clothes that people drop off. The students are usually in a hurry, so we try to keep things moving as fast as we can. Tathawade has changed a lot lately with more buildings coming up, but we’ve stayed in this same spot. The noise from the main road is always there in the background. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local service for the people living and studying nearby. It’s a lot of folding and packing, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. But it’s what we do, and we just keep at it every morning when we open the shutters.
