My Wash

My Wash is situated at 1197/2 on Fergusson College Road. If you know Pune, you know FC Road is always buzzing with energy, mostly because of the students from the college right there. It’s a very different vibe from an industrial estate. There’s always music playing somewhere, and people are always walking by our door. Our space is quite small, so we have to be very organized with how we use it. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff coming in at once, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time on our feet, and by the end of the day, we’re pretty tired. The traffic on the road is constant, and you can hear the horns and buses all day long. We’ve got a few regulars who stop by just to say hello, which is nice. It’s a very social part of town. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or big promises; we just try to keep things moving and get the work done on time. Sometimes the machines act up or we run out of supplies, and we have to scramble to fix it before the next rush. It’s just the daily grind of running a small shop in a busy area. We like being in the middle of all the noise, though. It keeps us on our toes.
