Payal Transport

Payal Transport is based over in Dhanori, specifically in the Rishi Nagar area. It’s a busy part of town and we spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of moving stuff from one place to another. Our office is pretty basic, just some desks and a lot of logbooks piled up. We have been in this spot for a long time, so we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as more buildings went up around us. The job involves a lot of phone calls and checking in on where the vehicles are at any given time. It gets pretty hectic during the middle of the week when everyone wants their deliveries done at once. We don't have any polished corporate setup here; it’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized so nothing gets lost. The drivers come in and out all day, often tired from the long shifts on the road. We try to keep a pot of tea going for whoever needs a break. The noise of the engines is something you just get used to after a while. It’s not an easy business, especially with the way traffic is these days in Dhanori, but we manage to keep things moving. We just take it one day at a time and try to handle the paperwork without getting too behind. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
