We’ve been here at Shaniwar Peth for a long time now. Mantri Heights is the building, and you can find us at 495/4. It is not a huge place, just a regular shop where we do our work. Most days it is just us surrounded by materials and tools. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is kept. If the floor is a bit dusty, it’s because we are usually in the middle of a project. People from the neighborhood stop by mostly to talk about what they need. We don't have a receptionist or fancy chairs for people to sit on. There is just an old desk and some stools. Shaniwar Peth gets quite busy in the afternoons, so the noise from the street usually drifts in through the open door. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall nearby while we finish up the day’s tasks. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just like doing the work and staying busy. Most of our tools have been with us for years, and they still work fine. It’s a simple life here. We open up in the morning, do the jobs that came in, and head home when the sun goes down. If you are looking for us, just head toward the heights and look for our small sign. There is always a lot of scrap paper around, but that is just how we work.
