We are over at 5 Kothrud in the Sampatrao Colony area. Offshore Accounting & Taxation Services Pvt Ltd is basically a quiet office where you’ll mostly hear the sound of keyboards clicking. It’s a nice enough spot, a bit away from the loudest parts of the main roads. The colony has a lot of trees, which is nice when you need to step outside for some air. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a whole lot of folders. Taxes and accounting take up a lot of concentration, so we try to keep the place relatively calm. During the busy season, we are usually here late, with coffee mugs piling up on the side tables. We don’t have a big reception desk or anyone in a fancy suit waiting at the door. It’s just us doing the math and making sure the filings are done right. We deal with a lot of people from all over, but we are rooted right here in Kothrud. Sometimes we have lunch together in the small break area we set up in the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The files can get a bit disorganized if we aren't careful, so we spend Fridays usually tidying up the paperwork. We like the neighborhood and the fact that it feels more like a home than a stiff corporate office.
