If you're looking for Nizkaya, we're at number 49 on Law College Road. We are directly opposite City Pride Hospital, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone who hasn't visited before. Law College Road is usually pretty busy with traffic and students, so there's always something going on outside our door. We've been here for a while now. The shop is small but we try to make it feel welcoming. It's mostly me and a small team who run the place. We sell things that we think look good and that people in the area might actually want to wear or use. We don't go in for those big sales pitches you see in the malls. If you like something, you buy it, and if not, that’s fine too. We spend a lot of time rearranging the displays because we get bored looking at the same thing every day. Sometimes the tea stall next door gets a bit loud, but it’s all part of the atmosphere here. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a reliable one where you know what you're getting. Our regulars often drop in just to say hello on their way home from work. It feels more like a community spot than a cold business. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. There is always someone new to meet on this road. We like the pace of it.
