It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main road, which is nice when you’re trying to do yoga or get through a session of physiotherapy. The building has been here for a while, and we occupy a decent space where we have all the mats laid out and the different machines for therapy. Some mornings are quite peaceful, just the sound of someone breathing during a stretch, while other times it’s more about the clinking of the equipment and people talking about their back pain. We see a lot of folks from the neighborhood who’ve been coming here for years. It’s not one of those high-end gyms with neon lights; it’s more of a local center where people feel comfortable showing up in their old tracks. I spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the towels are replaced. Sometimes the smell of food from Hotel Rasoie drifts over if the wind is blowing the right way.
